This is most likely La Marianne, though I have always known it as Madelaine, possibly a fancier version, or a mishearing, but anyway – here it is! PDF here, and video and dots below.

Deborah is a violinist and violist specialising in English folk music. She trained in viola and Baroque viola at Birmingham Conservatoire, before returning to her first love of traditional music, song and dance. Deborah has developed a passion for playing for dancing since joining her first ceilidh band at age 13. New Ealing Sessions 
The unadorned version you transcribe first is also how I learned “La Marianne.” One or two very minor differences, but it’s the same basic melody. Really like this tune, as it was the first French tune I learned from my French tune pals here in Silicon Valley in California.

Do you know of any online / virtual traditional French tune sessions anywhere (in UK or France for example)?

Not sure of any online sessions still happening, but it might be worth searching ‘Euro’ or ‘Bal’ rather than ‘French’ – good luck!
